I spent the day reviewing the HTML I've learned this week, and also, I purchased a book titled "Head First HTML and CSS," by Elisabeth Robson and Eric Freeman. One of the drawbacks of books on web development (versus internet learning) is that the material becomes obsolete relatively fast. This book, however was published in 2012, so it is still fairly current. I wanted to have a book on HTML and CSS that I could read concurrently with the HTML and CSS courses on Treehouse, to enable me to get a more in-depth look at HTML and CSS and to give me even more opportunities to practice what I've learned. That way if the Treehouse videos miss anything, perhaps the book will touch on it, and vice versa. I want to ensure that my background in HTML is solid and up to date. The book has 710 pages of actual content (plus 37 pages before page 1, and then some more extra pages of index and advertisements after page 710). So, I will be tracking my progression as I get through all 710 pages of the actual material.
